If we are talking about the 12 signs, they are equally Good. In Predictive Astrology, one has to judge the natural & functional benefic and malefic planet in the given horoscope of the native, which are basically Lords of different houses. Each out of 12 signs occupy one house in the horoscope.

Now, the characteristics of them signs and the native born under that sign ( in Vedic Astro, the birth sign if a person in that in which moon is placed in his/ her horoscope.) had been already answered by many of my fellow Quorans, so I will not repeat that…

But, to extend the question towards the real inference and make it more conspicuous and relevant to Predictive Astrology, I will elaborate my answer , as the Ascendant Sign can draw a major difference among characterizing the horoscopes.

The Ascendant is the astro sign which rises on the eastern horizon at the time of birth or happening of event. Only 12 signs use to rise on the eastern horizon every day, so at any day, there can be only 12 ascendants, which form horoscopes.

These Ascendant sign is the main marker of difference and accordingily, in different Ascendant horoscopes, all the other signs and their Lord planets become, behave and act, differently.

So, now we can see that, if a child is born, which Ascendant is better vis-a-vis other ones.

My idea or the point is to create an analysis about partially and complete beneficial or “Yog Karak “ planets in all the 12 ascendant horoscopes.

Aries Ascendant- Category - Moderate

Sun and Moon are yog karak. ( as it is trine-trikon and quadrant- kendra Lords respectively) ( but owns only one house each).

Mars is yog karak, off course it is ascendant Lord.

Jupiter is half benefic ( as the root sign lies in trine, but the other sign lies in 12 th house, which is trik -malefic house) .

Tarus Ascendant- Category- Best

Saturn is fully benefic or complete Yog karak as it is both trine and quadrant Lord.

Venus is benefic, off course it Ascendant Lord.

Mercury is also benefic as it is trine Lord and occupies house of wealth deposits (2nd house) ( though it is very slight ‘ marak' also).

Gemini Ascendant -Category - Good

Saturn and Venus are partially benefic as they are trine lords ( not complete Yog karaks as their other signs lie in trick malefic houses).

Mercury is complete benefic as both signs lies in quadrants ( Ascendant or Lagna is considered as both trine and quadrant).

Jupiter is both karak (10th house Lord) and prabal marak (7th house Lord) .

Cancer Ascendant-Category- Best

Mars is complete benefic or Yog karak as it is the Lord of both trine and quadrant.

Moon is off course yoga karak as it is Ascendant.

Jupiter is partially benefic as it is trine Lord but other sign lies in malefic horse 6th).

Venus is also considered as benefic as it is a quadrant Lord and Lord of 11th house ( the house of profits, earnings), though 11th is neither trine nor quadrant. ( native should not wear gem stone pertaining to Venus, as remedy) .

Leo Ascendant- Category - Best

Mars is complete benefic planet as it acqires lordship of both trine snd quadrant.

Sun is benefic as it is the Ascendant Lord.

Mercury plays an important role as it is the Lord of both houses of wealth and money. ( 11th is the house of profit or earning and 2nd is the house of paternal property inheritance snd wealth deposits).

Jupiter is partially benefic as it holds lordship of a trine but also of 8th ( trik - house of death and longevity).

Virgo Ascendant -Category - Moderate

Saturn and Venus are partially benefic as they are trine lords, ( not complete Yog karaks as their other signs lie in trick- malefic and marak house, respectively).

Mercury is complete benefic as both signs lies in quadrants ( Ascendant or Lagna is considered as both trine and quadrant).

Jupiter is partially benefic as the Lord of a quadrant but the other sign lies in marak House.

Libra Ascendant-Category- Good

Saturn is fully benefic or complete Yog karak as it is both trine and quadrant Lord.

Venus is benefic, off course it Ascendant Lord.

Mercury is partially benefic as it is trine Lord but also trik Lord (12th house).

Scorpio Ascendant-Category - Good

Jupiter is partially benefic as it is trine Lord but other sign ( root sign) lies in 2nd house.

Moon is benefic as trine Lord.

Sun is karak as 10th Lord (Param Kendra).

Mars is benefic, as being the Ascendant Lord.

Saggitarus Ascendant-Category - Good

Mars is partially benefic as of trine Lord but other sign lies in trik house (12th).

Sun is benefic as being a trine lord 9th ( house of fate)

Mercury is karak as of 10th house Lord but marak also (7th house).

Jupiter is benefic as it is the Ascendant and quadrant Lord.

Capricorn Ascendant-Category - Moderate

Venus is complete benefic as it holds the Lordship of both, trine and quadrant.

Mercury is partially benefic as it is Lord of trine ( root sign) but other sign lies in trik house(6th).

Saturn is not a clear cut benefic, (though, it is Ascendant Lord) as the root sign lies in 2nd house (marak). But it is good for wealth deposits and paternal property inheritance. ( natives are adviced not to wear blue sapphire instead, may wear a semi precious gem for Saturn).

Mars may be useful, but entirely depends on it's placement in the horoscope .

Aquarius Ascendant-Category- Good

Venus is complete benefic as it the lord of both trine and quadrant.

Mercury is partially benefic as Lord of trine and trik house ( 8th - house of death and longevity).

Jupiter is very important in terms of money as shares both the houses of profits, earning (11th ) and of deposits (2nd).

Saturn is benefic as it is Ascendant Lord but other sign lies in Trik (12th house).

Pices Ascendant-Category - Moderate

Moon is benefic as of trine Lord.

Mars is benefic but it's other sign lies in Marak house (2nd).

Jupiter is benefic being Ascendant and param kendra (10th) Lord.
